Shoujo

Shoujo (Japanese: 少女) is a genre in manga, anime, and other forms of Japanese media primarily targeted at a young female audience, typically ranging from ages 10 to 18. The term “shoujo” literally means “girl” in Japanese and refers to the demographic for which the content is created. However, the genre itself can also be enjoyed by people of all genders.
